In order to escape both the press and the curse, she flees to the quiet Victorian country town of Yinnar South. She’s sure no one will recognise her in this quiet community of dairy farmers and bakers - even so, she keeps her real identity under tight wraps. However, things are not all they seem in Yinnar South. For one thing, Charlie can’t shake the feeling that her farm house is haunted. Plus, she’s sure that one of her cows can talk to her. And that’s not all.When a body is discovered after Yinnar South’s weekly Fair everyone dismisses it as a simple heart attack. But Charlie isn’t so sure. Spurned on by the mysterious Belinda, Charlie becomes convinced that its a plot straight from the TV show Mystery Island. She’s never been a real detective, but her skills as a TV detective begin to pay off. She decides to investigate the mystery with the help of Belinda, whilst trying to stay undercover, but she soon gets more than she bargains for. As she gets closer to uncovering the identity of the Lamington Killer she discovers that it’s more than her identity that’s at risk: It’s her life.
